What to Wear: Cruise Fashion

While we would love to cruise around the Caribbean year round, we typically reserve our nautical voyages for these summer months. As all of you stylish sailors know, a cruise vacay means a wardrobe of captain’s caliber. Grab your sunnies, and pack your bags!

Comfy and Cute

While some of us like to lay by the pool the entire trip {no shame there}, there’s also a lot of fun stuff to do on and off the boat! Whether it’s cycling around your port-of-choice island, or doing some authentic island shopping, you’ll want to feel as good as you look. This is the perfect opportunity to break out your printed shorts or a tee shirt dress. We’ll leave the sandals or tennis shoes up to you!

First things first, SPF. When you’re getting that gorgeous glow, remember, good skin is a win. Your tan is only as cute as your skin protection. Now, onto the clothes {of the swimsuit variety}! You can choose between a mono, or bikini. We’re also a fan of the classic one piece, and by the way, they’re totally rocking the swimsuit game right now. Because we love any opportunity to style, pick a cute cover up for walking around {and talking to whichever cute lifeguard you meet}.

Our favorite part of the day, is the night! The Captain’s dinner just fuels our dress up fire, because you have to come in your nautical best! We personally love a formal maxi, especially because there are so many great ones to choose from! You can also go with a cute and classy cocktail dress! By the way, this is when you trade in the tennis shoes and sandals for your favorite colorful heels!

Bon Voyage!
