New Season, New Wardrobe

Spring 2016 Trends

It’s one of the most wonderful times of the year; spring, but more specifically, spring fashion. Fashion Week all over the globe has left its mark, and now we’re free to shop for the trends we can’t live – or get dressed - without. We’ve watched the runway shows, and we’ve scoured Vogue to come up with our favorite trends for spring 2016.

1. Suede – This has been a trend for a little while now, but it’s no where near ready to leave {insert praise emoji here}. The best part about it now, the colors are revamping the trend. We’ll always love our tan, but the bright pastel suede for spring is giving it a run for it’s {shopping} money.

2. Cold Shoulder – This spring, show those shoulders. Seriously, do it. The higher neck with exposed shoulders is the perfect top {of piece} for spring. Whether it’s a dress or a blouse, showing just this little bit of skin is a perfect way to look fierce while not having to commit to a tank top. Remember, spring may be beautiful, but it’s still chilly.

3. Pleats – You don’t have to tell us twice. We love any reason to wear a great flowing dress, and the pleats only make it that much more flattering. They’re the perfect design element to turn something flowing into just formal enough to carry a piece from day to night.

4. Orange – We love that orange is a trend. It’s so fun and bright and the perfect transition into spring brights.

5. Fringe – It looks absolutely perfect on everything. Kimonos, dresses, skirts, and accessories – they all look good in fringe. It’s just a fact. Anything that makes us feel a little more reminiscent of Great Gatsby fashion is fine by us.

We can’t wait to start shopping for these trends and dressing like the spring fashionistas we are.
