This past Saturday, we teamed up with Operation PROM to host a dress drive event - complete with tasty refreshments, beautiful beauty queens and lots and lots of dresses. The event was at the Atlanta Tech Village, which turned out to be the perfect venue for our event.
When we originally planned to put on this dress drive, our goal was to get 50 dresses donated. We knew this was a lofty goal, but we figured we could at least get our friends and family together to hit this number.
Looks like a lot more than 50 dresses, huh? We actually collected over 70 dresses! AMAZING!
We were absolutely floored by this number and are so incredibly grateful to all the girls who came out and donated dresses. You’re awesome!
During the event, the lovely Kimberly Crocker, Executive Director of Georgia USA Ambassador, put on a beautiful fashion show full of Georgia beauty queens of all different ages. For the fashion show, each beauty queen wore the dress she was donating in order to show how gorgeous used dresses can be.
All of the beauty queens looked wonderful and were able to donate a lot of dresses. You girls did awesome!

We’d also like to give a shout-out to a few Atlanta fashion bloggers who supported us by spreading the word about the event and bringing dresses. Thanks to LaTisha from Blushing Black, you can read her event recap here! Jess from Lady Flashback and Julie from The Jort Report. It was great getting to meet some Atlanta fashion bloggers and we were so excited to have y'all at the event!
One last thanks to our friends and family who helped us cook, decorate and set up the space. We couldn't have done it with out you!

Thanks again to everyone who came out to support such a great cause!

P.S. We've only got 2 more days left until our RocketHub campaign ends, so if you'd like to help us out by donating, visit our project page here. Thanks!
